FAQs

  • How & where do I mail my inclusions?

Once you place your order, you will receive an inclusion kit that contains a test tube, an order form, in case you would like to make changes to your online order, a brochure containing tips & instructions on how to package your inclusions, & a bubble mailer attached with a paid return label to mail them back. You will also receive a ziplock bag incase your tube breaks in transit; the return mailer will be labeled fragile to promote carful handling.

  • How much are the jewelry pieces for my specific inclusion?

All prices you see in the catalog are the prices you pay + shipping no matter what your inclusion is. The only thing that makes prices fluctuate is the type of metal you choose.

  • Will my jewelry tarnish or deteriorate overtime?

All jewelry at Little Memories is crafted with precious metals & with the proper care & cleaning, your jewelry should last you a lifetime. This means avoiding chlorine, salt water, and abrasive surfaces while wearing your piece is recommended. If you're going to be in such environments, you should remove your jewelry & store it in an airtight plastic bag & NEVER in direct sunlight. Only use jewelry cleaner designed for your metal.

  • How much ashes should I mail?

Only a pinch of ashes is required for your precious keepsake. 1/8 TSP of ashes is more than enough per piece.

  • What should I mail my ashes in?

Ashes should be mailed in the inclusion kit listed in FAQ #1.

  • How much hair should I mail?

0.2cm thick & 1 inch long of hair is more than enough to stand out in your piece.

  • How much breast milk should I mail?

Typically when crafting your keepsake 5ml of milk goes a long way. This being said I request only 1oz MAXIMUM in case error occurs.

  • What should I mail my breast milk in

Breast milk should be mailed in the inclusions kit provided in FAQ #1.

  • Does it matter if my milk is frozen, fresh, or expired?

No. As long as the milk isn't curdled, its material state doesn't matter because your baby will not be consuming it.

  • Will my milk yellow or mold inside my piece overtime?

No. Your milk will hold its color because of the preservation process that is performed when I receive it.

  • How do you know who's milk is who's?

Written on a thick sheet of parchment paper is your name & order number. After your milk is preserved, it is spread evenly on that same sheet parchment paper to set & dry into its final workable form. Your milk is stored in an air tight filing system until its ready to be crafted into your piece.
